PENGETAHUAN PERAWAT TENTANG PENGGUNAAN ALAT PELINDUNG DIRI SELAMA PANDEMI COVID-19 DI RSUD Tn. RONDAHAIM PAMATANG RAYA KABUPATEN SIMALUNGUN TAHUN 2020

Pneumonia Coronavirus Disease 2019 atau COVID-19 adalah penyakit peradangan paru yang disebabkan oleh Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS- CoV-2).Alat Pelindung Diri merupakan seperangkat perlengkapan yang berfungsi untuk melindungi penggunanya dari bahaya atau gangguan kesehatan tertentu, misalnya infeksi virus atau bakteri. Penelitian ini dilakukan di RSUD Tn.Rondahaim Pamatangraya Kabupaten Simalungun. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan atau menggambarkan suatu fenomena yang terjadi di dalam masyarakat (Notoatmodjo, 2010).Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengetahuan perawat tentang penggunaan alat pelidung diri selama pendemi covid-19 di RSUD Tuan Rondahaim Pamatang Raya Kabupaten Simalungun tahun 2020. Hasil enelitian didapatkan bahwa mayoritas perawat di RSUD Tn. Rondahaim sudah memiliki tingkat pengetahuan kategori baik. Dimana dari 38 perawat yang bekerja di RSUD Tuan Rondahaim ditemukan bahwa 65.8% responden memiliki pengetahuan yang baik tentang penggunaan alat pelindung diri. Disarankan bagi perawat untuk selalu patuh dalam menggunakan alat pelindung diri sesuai standart standart operasional prosedur selama bekerja guna pencegahan dan pengurangan resiko infeksi di rumah sakit.
